Registration is now open for the 2023-2024 career exploration camps through a partnership with the Greene County Career Academy and Iowa State Extension and Outreach – Greene County.
The goal of these camps is to broaden the horizons for youngsters by immersing them in different career fields and allow them to discover the options available to them through the Greene County Career Academy in high school.
These classes will take place on various Thursdays in the months of September-April. All 8 career strands – Culinary, Computer Science, Construction, Welding, Agriculture, Health Science, Education, and Business – will be offered for youngsters in grades 1-8. The cost of these camps is $10 and youngsters can sign up by calling the Extension office at 515-386-2138 or emailing hardaway@iastate.edu Space is limited.
